The Amsterdam dance event is just around the corner. With all night and day events locked in, we can now plan our plans. As usual, the conference contains numerous panels to both educate and entertain the attendees. Take a look below to see some of the week’s highlights. All panels taking place at ADE will be accessible with the ADE Pass.

ADE Soundlab’s STUDIO XL initiative is hosting intimate artist panels during the conference. Sessions bring you closer and closer to top artists as they deepen their production process. NGHTMRE, San Holo and Mike Williams are on the program this year and have all achieved remarkable success and can provide unique insight and advice that could help you take your craft to the next level.

How to get a job in the music industry

Thinking of working in music? On this panel, you can find out what top music companies are thinking. Learn about some of the key roles and get tips on what you can do to get your foot in the door. The line-up consists of an array of established individuals such as Insomniac Booker Anaïs d’Olivat, Senior Creative Director of Kobalt Publishing Dominique Keegan, Global Artist Relations Director of Deezer Junior Forster, Director of NGHTMRE Will Runzel and Elizabeth Cyprian from the BPM festival. If you are looking for a career in the music industry other than that of an artist, then this panel is a must see.

We The Audience – Organized Playlists: Good for Business?

With the founders of Trap Nation, Mr. Revillz, Wave Music and CloudKid as speakers, as well as people from The District, a company that helps run some of the biggest dance music YouTube channels. This panel will no doubt delve into those curators who have amassed a huge following based on the music they love.

Healthy mind, healthy party?

In recent years, problems have arisen throughout the music industry. After Avicii’s sad passing, many other performers spoke about the mental health issues they faced both on the road and at home. In this panel, artists such as Julian Jordan and Jay Hardway will discuss the mental health issues and pressures many artists face in the industry.

Plastic promise: the next steps towards responsible use of plastic

As an Ambassador of Plastic Promise, Sam Feldt is very passionate about issues such as single-use plastics and climate change as a whole. Finally, the Plastic Promise initiative was created ADE by Dutch event companies. This initiative has now been used on the festival grounds. The panel will look into plastic issues and share the results around the new initiative.
