Redmi Buds 3 Lite confirmed for Malaysia; Retail at RM99

Officially unveiled alongside a slew of New products including the next Redmi Note 11 Series are Redmi’s latest TWS headphones, the Buds 3 Lite. This particular model features an entry-level price, stemless design, and long battery life, but lacks some bells and whistles such as active noise cancellation (ANC).

The new Redmi Buds 3 Lite are equipped with 6mm drivers tuned by Xiaomi Sound Lab that deliver sound to connected devices via Bluetooth 5.2 transmission. Although it lacks ANC capabilities, the device comes with noise cancellation for calls which uses the built-in microphones and noise reduction algorithm to filter out external noise from the user’s voice.

Despite the more affordable price, Redmi didn’t skimp on the inclusion of touch controls on the Buds 3 Lite, which is quite impressive. On top of that, the device also comes with fast pairing capability, low latency mode for gaming, as well as an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance. water.

On the battery side, Buds 3 Lite can last up to 5 hours per charge, totaling up to 18 hours of use via the included charging case. Redmi claims that each bud takes 1.5 hours to fully charge when stored in the case, while the case itself takes around 2 hours to fully charge via USB-C.

The new headphones are available in white and black color options, and come with additional ear mounts and different sized eartips. In Malaysia, the Redmi Buds 3 are priced at RM99, but the company has yet to confirm its planned availability at this time.
